Blog started by a ninth grader from Princeton New Jersey USA for spreading the awareness of this global health emergency called "SUPERBUGS".This blog is all about superbugs - Bacteria who have outsmarted all our available antibiotics so far. I will keep writing about all things related to Superbugs like MRSA, bacteria, NDM-1, infection, antibiotic-resistant, multi-drug-resistant. This humanity crisis needs urgent attention before it is too late.

Chief Medical Officer for England Dame Sally Davies warns - Superbugs can make Chemotherapy ineffective and other routine surgeries as "Risky"

The UK Government’s chief medical officer, Dame Sally Davies, sounded the alarm that if there is no breakthrough in combating Superbugs, future cancer treatment might become ineffective. As the recent death of a USA woman, even after given 26 different antibiotics, still in the news, it is no surprise that she said -antimicrobial resistance had the “potential to undermine more than a century of modern medicine”.
