"If you use penicillin, use enough" - Nobel Lecture, December 11, 1945 for Penicillin by ALEXANDER FLEMING




With Superbugs crisis so evident now, we all know that underdose of an antibiotic is fueling into this mammoth crisis. But only few people know that , Alexander Fleming during his Nobel lecture itself had warned about this.

"It is not difficult to make microbes resistant to penicillin in the laboratory by exposing them to concentrations not sufficient to kill them, and the same thing has occasionally happened in the body.
