Superbugs ! Lets fight Superbugs! Blog started by a ninth grader from Princeton New Jersey USA for spreading the awareness of this global health emergency called "SUPERBUGS".This blog is all about superbugs - Bacteria who have outsmarted all our available antibiotics so far. I will keep writing about all things related to Superbugs like MRSA, bacteria, NDM-1, infection, antibiotic-resistant, multi-drug-resistant. This humanity crisis needs urgent attention before it is too late.

Louise McIntosh Slaughter is the only microbiologist women in Congress.
In addition to being the only microbiologist in Congress, she is also a visionary who began to take this "Superbugs"issue seriously before most of the government and scientific bodies around the world started taking it seriously. She carries on this work by championing the Preservation of Antibiotics for Medical Treatment Act (PAMTA), which would end the routine use of antibiotics on factory farms and curb the growing threat of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
