Stanford undergrads win prize for work related to developing new antibiotic
Nathan Collins from Stanford News Service shared a great news! Stanford undergraduates have won a national prize for their work developing a new antibiotic to combat the growing threat of multidrug-resistant bacteria aka superbugs.
Maria Filsinger Interrante, Christian Choe and Zach Rosenthal - trio collectively known as Team Lyseia, began as part of a biotech entrepreneurship student club spearheaded by ChEM-H director Chaitan Khosla and life-science industry veterans Zachary Sweeney, an alumnus, and Cameron Gray.
